1. Data Collection and Storage
Gotcha is designed as a “local-first” application. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data, item images, or usage habits to any third-party servers.
2. Core Permissions
To provide core functionalities, we require the following permissions:
- Camera & Photo Library: Used solely for capturing and selecting item photos. All image processing (including AI recognition and OCR) is performed locally on your device.
3. Data Sync and Backup
- If you enable iCloud sync, your app data is securely stored in your personal Apple iCloud account using Apple’s built-in security mechanisms. We have no access to this data.
- The built-in ZIP export/import feature generates unencrypted, standard ZIP files. This process operates entirely locally on your device and is fully controlled by you. Please keep your exported files safe when sharing or storing them.

3. 資料同步與備份
- 如果您開啟了 iCloud 同步，您的應用程式資料將透過 Apple iCloud 內建的安全性機制，安全地保存在您個人的 Apple 帳號中，我們無法存取這些資料。
- 應用程式內建的 ZIP 匯出/匯入功能，會產生未加密的標準壓縮檔。此功能僅在您的裝置本機檔案系統中運行，完全由您自主控制。若您要將匯出檔案分享或儲存於他處，請自行妥善保管。
